Is aromatherapy medicine? What’s the difference between aromatherapy and pharmaceutical drugs?

Aromatherapy can bring about powerful shifts in your body, heart, and mind through the use of plant-derived essential oils that work on your body holistically. But while it’s therapeutic, it’s not recognized as medicine.

When a pharmaceutical is created from a plant, a single “active ingredient” of the plant is isolated, and a drug is then synthesized from that single component in highly concentrated doses. The final product might also include other substances, which are less active. Some pharmaceuticals are entirely synthesized, not based on plant materials at all.

A pharmaceutical drug is usually intended to work on one particular system of your body, or address one particular symptom.

Aromatherapy essential oils keep all a plant’s naturally created components in synergy with one another, so the most “active elements” work in conjunction with supportive elements. They address multiple systems of your body, and multiple levels of your being.

You mention “Chi” several times in blend descriptions. What is Chi?

Chi is the life force that flows through your body, and through all things. When your Chi is strong, you feel vital and energized, happy and healthy. When your Chi is stagnant or weak, you feel sluggish and fatigued, and are more susceptible to illness and unhappiness. Strong Chi also affects your mental capacity, your creativity, and your ability to give and receive.

You can build good Chi by practicing healthy living—eating good, clean foods, getting enough sleep and exercise, spending time with friends and family, and meditating are a few ways of building Chi. Many martial arts are designed to help you build and direct strong Chi, in addition to physical strength and mental awareness. Aromatherapy affects Chi on subtle levels by encouraging shifts in your emotions, body, and spirit, helping to release old, stagnant energy and invite the new.

Will Tazeka blends contraindicate any of my current medications?
We’ve crafted Tazeka blends at very safe concentrations, so probably not. But talk to your doctor. Some blood-thinning medications, for example, can be affected by certain essential oils.
So many of your blends look amazing! How do I know which to choose?

We understand choosing a blend can be hard! A great way to go about it is to select blends that address what’s going on for you right now, or any issues that are uppermost in your mind. You can also go by fragrance, and select a blend based on your favorite essential oils.

Can I blend your blends?

Absolutely! Feel free to roll on multiple Tazeka oils at once. You can create some unique scents that way, and come up with something 100% you!

I’m not sure what’s wrong with me. If I contact you, will you tell me what blend I need?

Sorry! We don’t diagnose, treat, or cure any illnesses. We’re not doctors, and we recommend that you talk to one if you have health questions or concerns.

Can I use Tazeka blends as perfume?

You sure can! Tazeka oils smell irresistible. Just be aware that pure essential oils are volatile (meaning they evaporate) and easily absorbed by the skin, so the scent may not last as long as a synthetic fragrance. Fortunately, Tazeka roll-ons are convenient to carry with you and reapply.

Can I use Tazeka on my pets?

Please don’t. We don’t recommend using essential oils on animals.

Can I use Tazeka on my kids?

We don’t recommend using Tazeka oils for very young children, especially babies. As with all essential oils, keep them out of reach of kids. Tazeka blends smell enticing and delicious, and kids like to put things in their mouths. This brings us to our next question . . .

Can I use Tazeka blends internally?

We crafted Tazeka for topical application, not internal use, so please don’t try to take them internally.

Will you make me a custom blend?

Sorry! We’re not equipped to create custom blends just yet. Maybe sometime in the future. Sign up for our blog to stay updated.

What stores can I find you in?

Right now, Tazeka is available exclusively online. If you’d like to see them in your local beauty or wellness boutique, tell the manager!

Do you sell in bulk, or at wholesale prices?

We sure do! If you are interested in selling Tazeka Aromatherapy products please email us at sales@tazekaaromatherapy.com. Once we receive your inquiry, we will contact you as soon as possible to find out how we can best meet your needs.

Will you refill my vial if I send it back in?

While we do go out of our way to preserve our planet and sustain the environment, we’re unfortunately not equipped to accept empty bottles for refilling.

Will the ingredients in your blends change?

Ingredients are subject to change at the manufacturer's discretion. For the most complete and up-to-date list of ingredients, refer to the product packaging.

What if I want to change/cancel my order?

We only accept order changes and cancellations within 2 hours following order completion. Email us at sales@tazekaaromatherapy.com with what changes or cancellations your wish to make.

When will my order be processed?

Most orders will be processed within 24-48 hours of placing your order.

Shipping / Returns:
How long does it take to ship?

Most orders are delivered within 2-7 business days from the order's ship date.

Has my order shipped?

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, however, please email us at sales@tazekaaromatherapy.com before placing your order to get a shipping quote. Prices will be determined based on the country the item is to be sent to, and the size and the weight of product.

Note: Orders shipped outside the U.S. may be subject to local duty charges by your government. These charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Tazeka Aromatherapy is not responsible for any associated import fees that your country may impose. Please contact your local customs office to see what these charges are BEFORE placing your order. Estimated international shipping time is 10-14 days.

How do I return a product?

Tazeka guarantees your satisfaction on all purchases. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, call: 352 598 5265 within 15 days of receipt to get an Authorization number to return the product. We will refund the full purchase price of the product, however, we cannot refund the return shipping cost.

What is your return policy?

In order to ensure the quality of our products we adhere to strict shelf life and temperature storing guidelines. As such we kindly request that you contact us as soon as possible within these 15 days to arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund.

Please note that customers are responsible for any additional shipping costs on replacements, exchanges, or refunds. Restocking fees may occur on some orders.
